Jon has been the IT Audit Manager with Law Redd since 2013.  His responsibilities include performing IT audit procedures supporting risk assessments in our external audit engagements, IT audits and other engagements for our internal audit clients, IT and cybersecurity controls consulting, and overseeing the firm’s information security program.

Prior to joining Law Redd, Jon worked for the Florida Auditor General for 35 years, mostly as an IT auditor.  During his last 13 years with the Auditor General, he served as the IT Audit Manager and was responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing IT audits and related engagements at state agencies, educational entities, and local government units and overseeing a group of 28 IT auditors.

Jon graduated from The Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Information Technology Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Certified Government Financial Manager.  He is a member of the American Institute and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, and the Association of Government Accountants.
